The 43rd Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) Dedicated to Hon. Justice ShelvIn L.M. Hall with the theme “JAMAICA RISE” saluting the music industry and others who united and contributed to Jamaica Hurricane Melissa Destruction,  returns to South Florida on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, with a pre-Health Care Seminar on Saturday, May 16th at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC}

January 1st, 2026, Entertainment media and experts in the entertainment industry (i.e., Artists, producers, promoters, songwriters, record labels, media/bloggers, managers, agents, and engineers, etc.) will start submitting their nominations through February 15th, 2026. 

The revealing of nominees will be at a press conference in Kingston, Jamaica during Reggae Month Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, and a donation to assist Hurricane Melissa Health Care victims will be given.

The public, and primarily Youube.com/IRAWMA subscribers voting to select the winners will start online following the revealing of the nominees , and will end midnight, May 5th, 2026. The winners will be announced and presented on Sunday, May 17th at the 43rd IRAWMA Awards ceremony, LPAC, Lauderhill, South Florida.

CATEGORIES/CRITERIA: The Nominators’ decision should be based on materials/songs released no earlier than January 01, 2025, and no later than December 31, 2025. Please take into consideration the social relevance of materials, originality, sales, local/national/international performances, quality of performances and stage appearances, etc.
