NOMINEES MUST FIRST BE SELECTED BY THE REGGAE & WORLD MUSIC INDUSTRY EXPERTS, BEFORE THE PUBLIC/FANS CAN VOTE TO SELECT THE WINNERS.

The 42nd Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) with the theme “Democracy Rise” in Salute to VP Kamala Harris, first Jamaican/Indian American nominated for President of the United States of America, returns to South Florida on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.

 

Entertainment media and experts in the entertainment industry (i.e., artists, producers, promoters, songwriters, record labels, media/bloggers, managers, agents, and engineers, etc.) can start submitting their nominations now through December 31st, 2024. The revealing of nominees and public/fans voting to select the winners will commence on Martin Luther King’s birthday, January `15th, 2025, and end midnight, March 10, 2025. The winners will be presented and announced on March 30th at the Awards ceremony in Coral Springs, Florida

 

CATEGORIES/CRITERIA: The Nominators’ decision should be based on materials/songs released no earlier than January 01, 2024, and no later than December 31, 2024. Please take into consideration the social relevance of materials, originality, sales, local/national/international performances, quality of performances and stage appearances, etc.

 

Enter your 1st and 2nd choices per category. Skip the categories that you are not familiar with or up to-date on. Submit @ www.irawma.com for your nomination to be counted. NOTE: Any duplicated nomination will be automatically detected along with the original, Nominations may be e-mailed to irawmainfo@gmail.com, or mailed to IRAWMA, c/o Martin’s International, 1325 South Wabash # 307, Chicago, IL 60605, USA. Added this year, is the special “Best Song/Act Saluting Jamaican-American, VP Kamala Harris, the Candidate for President of the United States of America.” Awards will be given in some 34 nominated categories, plus, Special Awards of honor, and the 3rd IRAWMA Best Song Contest that is now officially open to all entertainers to submit their songs to IRAWMAinfo@gmail.com. The video song must be two minutes and submitted in the form of MP4 format and say something about what IRAWMA has been doing for the music industry over the last 42 years.
